Sweet Cork City marathon

Sun kissed & for the summer sun.

Welcome back to the Sweet spot.

There is something so satisfying about working a long hard day and coming home on a summer’s day the sun splitting the stones.

Feeling a sense of accomplishment after a productive day's work.

At the start of a sunny bank holiday weekend in Ireland. Which we know doesn’t come around that often.

Sunrise over Co. Cork

The Cork City Marathon is on and the throes of people who will be attending will be vast spread out over our great city. Watching those who are seriously competitive and those who are in it for a bit of a fun run.

Last year it was an amazing spectacle and am sure that this year will be no different.

The effort, the stress, and the rush of endorphins, all culminating in crossing the finish line with the support of fellow runners, uniting us as a city.

Not to forget those supporting our fantastic athletes.

Running the 10k race last year was a truly impactful experience. It instills an appreciation for the dedication of those who strive for greatness, overcome adversity, and run for important causes.

So a big shout out to all those running this year. To those going to support have a great day.

Finishing the race last year was just an achievement and a half. It was gratifying but after my stomach could have eaten itself.

That feeling of wanting something but not knowing what…

Check the press, nothing pops out immediately.

Just wandering around, what do I want?

Open the fridge door.

The cool air hits you, it’s like an eureka moment.

Something refreshing that will give you that Sweet summer feeling.

When life gives you lemons. Make lemon tart.

We will be doing recipes once a week starting next week and one of the recipes that I adore is this lemon tart.

It’s a little bit more advanced so we will work our way up to it, it being summer it will be an absolute game changer.

If you can’t wait that long we have baked freshly every day in-store and online.

Check us out on Instagram as well.

All the support helps us.

Stay Sweet
