SweetSpots summer circus

Fantasies of running away to the circus

Welcome to the Sweet Spot

The Friday edition.

As the weekend is upon us again.

Let's look at what is happening around us over the weekend.

With our city and county, there is always a lot going on.

We have a pick of some of our unique events that you will enjoy.

First of all, have you heard of the circus factory?

It’s an exciting concept.

They have a student showcase if you want to see what they offer.

Remember when you were young and thought about running away to join the circus?

Well, you no longer have to run away.

Fun, fitness, wonder and delightful acrobatics are all in the wheelhouse.

It’s sure to be a fantastic evening with delights and wonders.

Take a look and see.

Summer festival season is in full flow.

Mallow is in the middle of their arts festival.

It started on the 24th and continues until the 28th of July.

With so much to choose from, it would be a shame not to even look at it.

I’ll attach the program just below in case any of it tickles your fancy.

From tremendous local gigs to stories that bring us together as Corkonians.

Events for kids to the yoga at the castle there is something for everyone.

As they always say, finish with a laugh.

It’s unique what a laugh does for our complexion.

What is it about laughing that gives us all the benefits?

I’m not a neuroscientist and honestly don’t want to be.

I’d much prefer to stand on stage and give people a laugh.

That, for me, is more fulfilling.

So if you enjoy a good laugh, I’m sure you will.

Do I have something to sink your teeth into?

It's as they bill themselves as Cork’s Primetime Comedy show.

Stand-up comedy at the Roundy is the place to be.

They will have you laughing so hard you will have sore abs in the morning.

Now, is that not the ultimate workout?

Laugh yourself to washboard abs.

It could be an Ad.

Yeah, I should keep my day job.

Anyway, if all else fails, you can visit us in the marina market.

We all are happy to see you.

On that bombshell, this has been another Friday Funday with a look at the goings on in Cork.

As always,

Stay Sweet
